Tim qualified from The Royal Veterinary College, London in 1986. After spending a year in Mixed Practice in Yorkshire, Tim moved to a Specialist Stud Practice where he spent the next four years. He left to establish Peasebrook Equine Clinic in 1991 and passed the Royal College Certificate in Equine Stud Medicine in 1992. Tim still does the lion’s share of the stud work in the Practice but his main interests now are lameness investigation and sports medicine. Tim is the main Practice Surgeon and is also one of the examiners for the Royal College Certificate in Equine Stud Medicine. He also acts as an expert witness for the Veterinary Defence Society. Tim is extremely experienced in pre-purchase vettings for horses from all equine disciplines.

ANDREA CARDONA MIRANDA

Andrea graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Barcelona in 2017. After graduation she went travelling and gained experience in different practices in Colorado and Northern Ireland. Following this, Andrea joined a hospital in Ireland where she completed her internship working mainly with racehorses. After completing her internship in 2019, she volunteered as a vet in a veterinary charity hospital in Egypt. Later in the year, she moved to England to work as an ambulatory vet. Andrea also did some locum work where she was exposed to a wide range of patients, including zebras and wild ponies! Last summer, she started a Certificate in Internal Medicine supervised by the University of Liverpool.

Andrea’s veterinary interests include neonatology, internal medicine, anaesthesia and wound management.

Outside of work, Andrea enjoys hiking, traveling and socialising.

JANA CARRERAS MELGOSA

Jana qualified from the Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera in Valencia, Spain in 2021. She then completed a 12 month internship at Universitat Autonoma Barcelona with an emphasis on equine internal medicine and anaesthesia. Jana then moved to the prestigious Fethard Equine Hospital in Ireland where she was part of the surgical and orthopaedic departments as well as continuing in anaesthesia.
