EMMA SARIC

After graduating from The Royal Veterinary College in 2017, Emma undertook a hospital based internship in North Yorkshire. Following this, she moved to a role as an ambulatory vet in York with a large stud caseload. Wanting to further her skills in stud medicine, Emma took a role at a large equine hospital in the Southern hemisphere and completed many thoroughbred stud and sales seasons in New South Wales and Victoria. In 2022 she shuttled to the Cotswolds for the Northern Hemisphere stud season with a large sports horse caseload to develop her skills in AI and advanced reproductive techniques with mares and stallions. In 2023 returned to the same practice where she was based for several years. Emma is working towards advanced practitioner status in equine stud medicine. Her clinical interests include equine reproduction, foal medicine and equine internal medicine, and she recently wrote an article for Horse and Hound discussing ill-thrift in foals and weanlings.

In her spare time Emma has a young sports horse mare who she competes within British Showjumping. Emma has also successfully collected and transferred an embryo transfer from her this year and so is expecting a foal in 2026.
