Arthroscopic surgery on a carpal chip fracture

At Peasebrook we have a large purpose built operating theatre with induction and recovery boxes. We can perform all categories of equine surgery including arthroscopy to treat joint conditions ranging from OCD lesions, chip fractures to septic joint flushes following penetrating wounds and the all-to-common black thorn injuries. Abdominal surgeries are often carried out to treat colic but also to remove ovaries or abdominal testicles (rig surgery). Upper airway surgery makes up a good percentage of our caseload. Some of these procedures can be done in the standing horse and these are done with the horse sedated and usually confined in our stocks.
